Abdou Bensouda has considerable experience in finance and management. Additionally, he trained as an engineer. He started out his career as an engineer at Westinghouse. While there, he served as a program manager and software engineer. An investment professional,Mr. Bensouda has held various financial, executive and also managerial positions since 1995.
He has 20-plus years of experience in business reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and general management. Mr. Bensouda was a managing director for venture capital and advisory firm Finaventures. He has an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Massachusetts’ Babson College.
Mr. Bensouda was a senior executive at BMCE Bank Group before coming on board at Finaventures. He was responsible for investments in excess of $100 million in high technology start-ups and joint ventures (JVs) with major technology businesses while at BMCE Bank Group. He held program management and engineering positions at Westinghouse Electronic System Division previous to BMCE.
